Designs of a Creative Soul offers holiday decorating for homes and businesses in the River Region. Here's how booking and install day work.

 

Booking and Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit reserves your date. The remaining 50% is due when the install is finished, before I leave. Installs aren’t considered complete, and the follow-up touch-up visit isn’t scheduled, until the balance is paid. I accept card payments through an invoice or payment link, and cash.

 

Rescheduling and Cancellation

You may reschedule once at no charge with at least 7 days’ notice, based on availability. If you cancel, or ask to reschedule with less than 7 days’ notice, the deposit is forfeited.

 

Access on Install Day

If no one is available to let me in at the scheduled time and I can’t reach you within 30 minutes, the appointment is treated as a late cancellation and the deposit is forfeited. I’m happy to rebook if a date is available, with a new deposit.

 

Decor and Materials

I design with a mix of your own decorations and new pieces I bring in, such as ribbon, picks, florals and ornaments. New materials are included in your quote and are yours to keep.

 

Your Decorations

I handle every item with care, but I am not responsible for breakage or damage to client-owned decor, including fragile, aged or sentimental pieces. If an ornament is irreplaceable, I recommend placing it yourself.

 

Before I Arrive

Please have your tree assembled, with the lights on and working, and the area around the tree, mantel or space cleared so I can work.

 

Adjustments

Small tweaks are made on install day. Each booking also includes one free follow-up touch-up visit within 7 days.

 

Takedown

Takedown is optional and quoted separately. It can be scheduled any time in January, based on availability.

 

Service Area and Travel

There’s no travel fee within the River Region (Montgomery, Pike Road, Prattville, Wetumpka, Millbrook and Deatsville). Jobs outside the River Region carry a flat $50 travel fee.

 

Commercial Spaces

Offices, churches, storefronts and other businesses follow these same terms. Every commercial job gets a written quote before booking, and installs can be scheduled before or after business hours.

 

Photos

I may photograph the finished work for my portfolio and social media. I never share your name, address or other personal details.
